Botticino’s marble is typical of Brescia and a product of worldwide excellence.
This tour will bring you along the winding roads near the caves in a peculiar landscape, radically changed by human intervention.
Starting from Sant’Eufemia you’ll ride on level ground for 12km in the direction of Gavardo, after which you’ll climb to Serle for 7,7km on slopes, which are at times challenging, watching panoramic views of the surrounding Pianura Padana.
You’ll reach the highest point at 660 metres above sea level, then the route descends to Botticino, offering panoramas of the mountains destroyed by marble caves.
This route has a challenging climb, but it’s also suitable for well-trained enthusiasts if tackled with calm.
